I am Satheesh Gurusamy, a Senior Data & Analytics Lead with over 15 years of experience delivering data and analytics solutions across financial services, insurance, retail and e-commerce.
My expertise spans data engineering, data modelling, business intelligence and advanced analytics, with extensive experience designing scalable data platforms, building robust data pipelines and transforming complex data into actionable insights. I work across SQL Server, Power BI (DAX), Python, Azure data services, Snowflake and dbt.
My analytics experience covers customer and marketing analytics, segmentation, predictive modelling, digital customer journeys, conversion analysis and performance measurement. I have extensive expertise in CRM and campaign management platforms including Adobe Campaign Classic, Emarsys, Ometria and Pure360 (now Spotler), delivering data-driven segmentation, campaign automation and full-cycle customer lifecycle strategies.
Digital and e-commerce have been a consistent part of my career, spanning online customer journeys, conversion and sales analysis across insurance and retail, through to developing and delivering e-commerce solutions, including online ordering and payments, digital marketing, analytics tracking and performance reporting.
Throughout my career, I have partnered with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate complex business challenges into scalable data solutions, combining technical depth with commercial understanding to improve customer outcomes, operational efficiency and business performance.
Originally from Tamil Nadu, India, I moved to the UK to study at Aberdeen Business School, University of Aberdeen, where I completed my MBA. I also hold a Master’s degree in Information Technology.
